• The Rolex Explorer has been a constant force in the Rolex sports watch line-up since the 1950’s. In the early 1990’s Rolex introduced the sapphire glass 14270 Explorer with applied 3-6-9 numerals, where before they had always been painted. This example has tritium lume in the 18k white gold hour markers and a glossy black dial which presents a frosted patina in the right lighting.

• The 36mm case remains in really outstanding condition with thick and even drilled lugs. This Explorer is fitted with a hollow link reference 78360 Oyster bracelet with a clasp stamped T6 and hollow end-links reference 558B. The watch is accompanied by its original warranty, booklet and box.
