The last neo-vintage mid-size
Probably the most popular version of the Royal Oak mid-size, offered to the public in several different versions and dials, this reference was produced between 1992 and 2006. Many details have changed over time on the different versions, from the Tapisserie font to the index to the crown.
There are probably three generations of 14790ST, with smaller variations within each generation. The model shown here is a Mk2 (1993-2000) with a charcoal grey dial with navy blue accents and an AP folding clasp.
The reference 14790 is probably the version with the most different dials over time. It is also an excellent choice in terms of a smaller Royal Oak, with proportions that respect the original design of the first Royal Oak while being equipped with a robust calibre and a screw-down crown.
