The Thinnest Royal Oak
- The Royal Oak 56175TT Championship is a limited edition of 2,000 pieces and celebrates the back-to-back victories of golf legend Nick Faldo in the 1990 Masters and British Open. This two-tone Royal Oak is unique in that it is not made from a mixture of gold and steel like most two-tone watches, but from tantalum and steel. The rarity of tantalum and the difficulty of working it explain its low production.
- Another particularity of this Royal Oak is its thinness. With a thickness of 5.8mm, the 56175TT is the thinnest Royal Oak in the history of the brand, yet it retains a significant amount of mass given its thinness and its 33mm diameter, as tantalum has the particularity of having a density close to that of gold.
